As I reflect on the last 365 days, there is one word that seems to define the year, GRATITUDE.
Gratitude for each and every one of our patients that have supported the clinic and for the relationships that we have built along the way.
Gratitude for the opportunity to share our love of medicine, medical aesthetics, and continuing education with our patients and our community.
Gratitude for The Alchemy Clinic team that has made this dream possible.
And lastly, gratitude for the mentors, fellow entrepreneurs, community members, and medical aesthetic colleagues who have supported me and the clinic through this year of pure transformation. I will forever feel indebted to you for your kindness and your wisdom that was shared freely and without reservation.
The growth of the clinic has also made it possible to add more services and availability for our patients. Jessica, RN has transitioned into a full-time role and keeps the clinic on track with many of the behind-scenes tasks and responsibilities. Erin, APRN will also soon be transitioning into more of a full-time role and will soon be bringing new services into the practice. Jackie is our newest member of the team and we don’t know what we would do without her. Her energy and zest for life are contagious and has been the perfect addition to the team. Above all else, creating a united team that shares the same values and expertise was my hope for the clinic and this team has surpassed all my expectations.
This year has taught me the importance of engagement—whether it be within the community, supporting other entrepreneurs and women-owned businesses, or engaging in legislative efforts to support the medical aesthetic field. Engagement builds communities, fosters the art of giving, and unites the community that we rely so heavily upon.
This year was also filled with two surprise recognitions that were a helpful reminder that despite the trials and tribulations of new business ownership, we are on the right path! We were the Bronze Winner for the Best of 603 in Aesthetic Medicine and I was fortunate to have been recognized as one of the Union Leaders 40 Under 40 amongst many other talented recipients. Despite such recognitions, the most meaningful of them all is the reviews and feedback that we receive from our patients.
While this year comes to a close, we are well into the planning phase for next year. Here is a glimpse of what’s to come:
Ultrasound! While our first Clarius ultrasound served its purpose over the last few years, The Alchemy Clinic is making a major ultrasound upgrade which will allow for more precise treatments, better anatomical evaluations, and improved management of medical aesthetic complications. Stay tuned for more to come!
Hormones! Erin, NP will be making big strides this year as we incorporate a bit more functional medicine offerings. Hormone Replacement Therapy has been requested by many and we will be rolling this out over the next few months.
Lasers! We have added Aerolase Neo-Elite to our repertoire of energy-based devices. This one-of-a-kind laser has the capability of treating numerous skin conditions and concerns. The Neo-Elite can also be combined with several other treatments for transformative outcomes and Jessica, RN will be spearheading these treatments for our patients.
Education! Education is vital for all medical professionals, and medical aesthetic providers are no exception. This year will be filled with many advanced trainings, and world travels to review and discuss complication management, in addition to skincare and functional medicine certifications.
In closing, I just want to say “Thank you!” Thank you to all of our patients and supporters. You allow us to not only do what we love, but you have given us the support and stamina to continue to grow all in an effort to provide you with the care and attention you deserve.
